Spring-Summer with Hecate

Posted in Company News by admin at 15 April, 2011

Metamorphoses: Fables from Ovid was an all-round success! A tremendous show, which the audiences loved (although it horrified them a little!), and which will return in July (or possibly later) this year for another run. If you missed it – keep your eyes peeled to see it again! The show also generated over £200 for our chosen charity, CoppaFeel!, so we’re extremely happy about that.

Next up… auditions are currently underway for our production of Twelfth Night. This is going to be a grand affair indeed, as Hecate Theatre take over St Albans Church Hall and turn it into a 1930s nightclub, to retell Shakespeare’s much-loved comedy of twins separated at sea. Not to be missed: 20th-23rd July at 7.30 pm.

See the Bristol Shakespeare Festival programme for more details on this summer’s line-up!
