2011 – a time for changes…
Happy new year from Hecate Theatre! And what a year we’ve got lined up!
23rd-26th March sees our retelling of Ovid’s Metamorphoses, set in a Victorian girls boarding school. It promises to be dark, twisted, hilarious and definitely not for the faint-hearted. The script was finalised on Monday and rehearsals start in a couple of weeks’ time. Can’t wait!! Keep an eye on our Twitter feed for updates. (@ the Lansdown)
20th-23rd July is when our production of Twelfth Night will be performed, as part of the Bristol Shakespeare Festival! Set in the 1940s, it revolves around a nightclub, gangsters and live music.
